Hey y'all,
glad you ended up here! My name’s Anna Gibala and I’m the founder of Moonbelly Meat Co. based in Durham, NC. My professional background includes a range of butcher shop, wholesale and restaurant experience.
I started as a cook and then turned my focus towards butchery as part of the founding team at Clove and Hoof in Oakland, CA. From there I worked at Western Daughters, Elevation Charcuterie, and il porcellino salumi in Denver, CO followed by Tails & Trotters in Portland, OR. Now back in my beloved hometown of Durham, I’m excited to launch my own business and share with my community my flavor-packed sausage and charcuterie.
I’m looking forward to connecting with folks like you—someone who’s eager to support sustainable and locally-made meat products and try creative new flavor combinations.
